It might carry more weight. I not saying there shouldn't be an investigation just that we need to recognize that this is all political theater and there has been no evidence to make people believe a crime took place yet so many even in the media believe it.

What we have is unsubstantiated suspicious because a man everyone thought should have been fired was fired while investigating an unsubstantiated suspicion that only was given weight because the media made it seem likely even though they have no evidence. What makes this timing suspicious? What suspicious event triggered the firing? Was do so many media outlets seem so determined to create a controversy?

The people actually doing the investigation are still there, all the evidence they collected its still there. The White House leaks like a busted bucket but nothing has come out that ties him to this or that indicates he is interfering with the investigation. The withhunt is the real scandal.
