Rather, it's not coming from the administration. It's coming from anonymous sources and third hand hearsay by people from the former administration who are not political appointees (and therefore still employed by the government) but who clearly don't like Trump, and fanned by a mainstream media that hates him, to create non-stop stories that don't even make logical sense when taken as a whole.

Is Trump a bit of an asshole? Yes. Does he speak in ways that are not political? Yes. That's why we elected him.

All the NYT and WaPo are doing is ensuring that the 63 million people who voted for Trump will never buy their papers or trust a single thing they say, even if it's "the sky is blue". That's why THEY are creating any crisis that might arise, because by blowing every rumor into a story, when there finally IS a real story (under this or any other administration), no one will believe them.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
