The conservative media or conservative universities aren't necessarily any more open to dissenting viewpoints than the liberal ones - the difference is merely that the liberal and centre-right ones have more power and influence. Nationally at least, I would imagine on the local level that's often not the case.

Yup. Seems to me that people who make a point of being anti-PC should maybe remember more that there are also aspects of political correctness which they would not actually like to see challenged.
