It seems OK but still not sure which direction they are taking it. With a 12 year old who stays up later than I it is hard to find time to watch it. So far I don't like as much as I want to. I think it would be more entertaining if it was less heavy and dark. They everyone is evil and unlikeable trend is growing old. Bad people do bad things then everyone dies was edgy with the Reservoir Dogs but now it is just flat and derivative. I want someone to root for in a show and killing off anyone likeable or changing them to bad guys has gotten boring.

Where are you so far in the show? I ask for if we have a conversation it would be important to know where you are so I do not spoil anything.

Reservoir Dogs as in Quentin Tarantino? I haven't seen Reservoir Dogs...I do not know if I would like it, much of Tarantino is just too much for me and is seemly shock value like if Sizemore was writting the Narrative it would be a Tarantino flick. That said some of his work has grown on me even though I purposefully do not dip my toe deep into his bathtub. For example I used to loathe Kill Bill, but it has grown on me. (I blame the soundtrack and the Uma Thurman for being good / sublime.)

Sidenote how many of Tarantino were financed by Harvey Weinstein?

That is one advantage Westworld has if the writers / directors of WW will capitalize on it. You are not writting a single story but instead creating a world of stories, so you should be willing and have the psychic need to add new people to the stories, more heroes for a world is full of heroes and not just villains and who is on top is constantly changing in a dynamic world.

I have faith this is going to happen in the future seasons of WW but lots of people have screwed this up in the past with there own "grand world narratives" maybe Nolan and Joy they too will screw it up? Another advantage these two have is beside having talent you can always hire more writers, more creative consultants, and mine them for good ideas and have them help you get rid of bad ideas if you set up the proper creative structure in the writting room and so on.
