A question for RAFO: Is Tessa Thompson a good actor?

I honestly can't tell. I personally love Tessa Thompson play all the roles I seen her in, I very much enjoyed the experience.

But, does that make her a good actor? I can't tell for I feel my emotions / sentiments are blinding me to accurately gauging her acting ability. Is she a William Shatner or a Sir Ian Mckellen?
