I am the Thing, head of security for the Baxter Building and the Fantastic 4, I start off knowing the Splog requires a special code to access, and the investigatory role is given to a guy who by definition is total untrustworty and bulletproof, now Deadpool's role make a lot more sense, it really is keyed to his character, he has a power that is highly ironic for him to hold, the crazy person no one trusts is the Watcher, the backup investigator, he's BP to keep from easily dying, so's the guy with the clue about the SPLOG. I'd sort of assumed initially Hobo or Fox was the Splog bearer, they might have access, and the other would be a scummer, but it makes sense more this way anyway

Isn't it a bit improbable we'd have a BP watcher and a fully functional cop in a game this size, there's almost always something partially wrong with one of the investigators if we've got two, and we've never had a bulletproof investigator at all, pushes the boundaries of credibility, particularly considering we're also role heavy otherwise. Only counter if that is true would seem to be 4 scummers instead of 3 and then the vote to lynch really doens't make sense. We've got a mathematically bizarre lynch, a SPLOG who if FT is telling the truth has gotten into unexpected hands without access code, and a bulletproof watcher. Sound fishy, or is that just my sleep-deprived brain?
