I guess I'll just give the others a pass, accept that Indiana Jones isn't for me, and move on to other classics that I haven't seen yet, and that hopefully I'll find more deserving. Though somehow I doubt too many will be from the '80s, true. :P I do love Breakfast Club, and some others from that decade I'm sure, but I can't think of many.

It might be a good idea to accept them for what you know they are, and try to relax and watch them. Now that you know that YOU wouldn't rate them above 8, it might be more fun to watch them w/o expectations. The first and the third are my faves, but they do really have to be accepted as romps - I agree completely with Jens about the "warm fuzzies."
