In other words, the Nym were living ter'angreals. The process probably had the Nym using the OP to focus the combined voices of Ogier and Aiel men blessed with the ability to seed sing to produce crops free from destructive insects or disease. With the last Nym dead at the Eye Of The World, the entire process falls apart. The Tinkers are NEVER going to find the song.


The last of the Nym is gone but I wouldn't put it past Elayne to make a new one to tend to the palace gardens.
