Nods, but the dark side has been present and growing since the beginning. Most on the evil side till lately however.


TGS would have been very dark even if Robert Jordon had been able to finish it himself. Brandon Sanderson's version will be darker yet if the rest of the book holds true to the first chapter. This will be most evident in his representation of Rand. Basically I think that when he gets finished with Rand, he is going to make Fain look stable.
All good things come to those who wait.
