Hands up if you don't believe in foreshadowing in this series

Pick me, Pick me

Rand : I want to kill Demandred.
*Demandred dies in the last book*
Fans : Did you guys see the foreshadowing?
Seriously, we know that the Forsaken are going to die and that the DO is going to sacrifice them to gain his goals.
Despite the fact that several posters on various boards have an extreme and invaluable knowledge of the 'Wheel of Time' series, I've almost never met one who could predict anything of use for future books. If you look back at people's predictions for upcoming books, they're almost invariably and utterly incorrect. True theories are so rare that the people responsible are usually remembered by name and worshipped thereafter.
The series is so random it will shock any casual reader. Just watch how wrong everyone is going to be regarding the 'three shall be one','the future hangs on the edge of a blade' etc. Jordan, and now BS, has never been predictible. Semirhage was merely voicing one of hundreds of paranoid rants that all of these villains experience on a daily basis, not least of all her desire to get her hands on Lanfear if there was any justice in the world, which was absolutely not an example of foreshadowing and never can be now.

I'd say that there was a pre-meditated plan or backup plan to sacrifice Semirhage

Moridin and SH knew that the CK could never defeat the dark one so they were happy to leave it

the relevance is that it was impossible without the CK

??? The CK in the hands of a madman is exactly what the Dark One needs to destroy the pattern

It could be, but I would still think they would have noticed the CK sitting next to the male a'dam
