I agree wholeheartedly with the OP on this. Egwene's intentions are good and all, but her acceptance and assimilation into Aes Sedai society totally turns her off to me. The only factor that can change this is if she actually returns Aes Sedai to their roots of being servants of all as their name clearly states! This doesn't seem to be the case though as she's clearly intended, outside of Verin, to be a top dog AS as far as being deft and manipulative. Egwene takes the, hey I'm not lying but still misleading you deal to the max at times and is proud of it in her thoughts is very troubling as well . Way to totally misunderstand the spirit of the 3 oaths like every other AS Egwene, kudos to you.

From all indications so far, her main goal seems to be to bring back Aes Sedai's former 'glory'. But the question is in what manner? Anything outside of Egwene returning AS to their roots will be a huge fail (which sadly won't be suprising since they've been the epitome of fail throughout the series) and Egwene will become one of the biggest waste of chapters (of which she's second only to Rand in number of POV chapters I believe) ever in WOT in my mind. No Egwene I'm sorry the world doesn't revolve around the tower and without those 'precious' AS I think Rand can find plenty of other channelers that don't bind themselves like criminals and have the mental capacity beyond a teenager.
