Because, IMO they are making progress in bigger clearer steps that I can easily relate to. And the no of pages of people doing nothing but thinking about dresses, baths, tea are almost zero now. It feels just like when I was reading the first few books. The Wot-related curiosity awakened in me again.
I would have loved it even more if they had continued with RJ's original plan of finishing it in one book, but then they need to make as much money as possible after all.
