Hong Kong is not an accurate representation of the rest of Modern China darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 20/01/2011 04:50:20 PM

Totally medieval Europe!
Much less hypocrisy, and much more chances to actually somehow improve your status.
Not that it was a good society, mind, but today's China looks like a big nightmare to me.

Hong Kong, specifically - Technology, Great food, Awesome night life. Not to mention indoor plumbing beats anything medieval Europe could ever offer.

It was a Western City for more than 100 years and has largely been left to it's ways since reverting back to Chinese control. Head on out to rural China or Tibet and see how you like things.

They are pretty close to evil. Slavery being the big thing, but the crushing social scale is far - 31/12/2010 06:45:59 PM 1303 Views
The Aiel sold slaves to Shara, does that make them evil? No society in Randland is without flaws. - 07/01/2011 05:10:32 AM 1626 Views
