Victory at Tarmon Gaidon means nothing if freedom is replaced by totalitarian rule and this rule destroys the world. The Seanchan will eventually destroy themselves - the danger is that if they consolidate power they could very well take the entire world down with them.
For all their faults, there is no conceivable way a Seanchan-induced worldwide period of anarchy could even come close to the Breaking, and a thousand Breakings would be preferable to the victory of the Dark One at the Last Battle.
