Moiraine has never used the bond to compel Lan, per his own words, and Myrelle thinks it is incredibly unfair that Warders get the raw end of the deal. Daigian also seems to think its only natural and good that the Aes Sedai suffer for the loss of their Warder, and I don't see others like Verin and Cadsuane having different views on this.

Like many things with the OP, the Warder bond is not inherently evil or bad. Like you said, it depends on the Aes Sedai. And the Aes Sedai who abuse their Warder bond seem to be in a minority.
