I'll address your points as soon as I have more time. Elayne absolutely did not win the day in this situation, and you'll not convince me otherwise. What she did was get people killed and get into a situation that required someone else to save her ass. If Birgitte, the one who would have, you know, been coddling her, had not been able to track her and trick the windfinders into helping (or going back for Kin to do the same even though most can't fight properly), Elayne would have been lost by her own actions. I feel fine calling her to task for that, and pointing out that the win was in no way her doing. You'd be having convulsions if it were Egwene in a similar situation, so I am finding most of this conversation laughable.
