If a guy with the knowledge to make nukes is captured by Bin Laden, and there's no way of rescuing him, bombing the house he's held in so that nuclear weapons don't enter Al Quaida's arsenal is a perfectly legitimate decision, and not an atrocity.
As for what she could do, why doesn't she use the adam opening weave to release captured AS instead of killing them left and right?
