Reading this quote it's odd that Elza still holds to her "you will face the Great Lord and lose" mentality ... that epiphany was due to the compulsion in the first place so with it gone why still hold to it?
It's actually subtly different. Before, her epiphany was that Rand would face the DO and lose in the Last Battle. The context here clearly shows that Rand was supposed to face the DO now, well before the Last Battle and completely in Semirhage's power.
Besides, that wasn't an effect of the compulsion directly; Elza was using it as justification to act out the compulsion. I don't think removing the compulsion would change that (but would stop her from blindly following Rand).
