Doesn't make much sense that Graendal was there - apparently on SH's orders - but still Elza is essential for SH getting things done. Graendal could have fetch the DM; and as you said, remove the Compulsion from Elza.

Apparently there is more to SH's powers that we don't know yet.


is that you think SH is capable of implanting knowledge into Elza, but at the same time is unable to remove a Compulsion? That just does not compute to me... shrugs...
