I would say that I think given some of the answers we've received to issues in the series, it is a common reaction to go to far in the other direction and become a "theory nazi", rejecting anything you don't think is possible beased upon your own subjectively-laden interpretation of the series. There are degrees of likelihood but truly, we are dealing with a situation where the current writer had to defer to an assistant, which suggests to me that there is a lot of room for error.

And, you know, given the theories that floated around regarding the Finns, magical wishes, Dark One tampering, True Power Shields and etc, say she chooses not to reveal her true strength until the right moment seems rather conservative to me.
