one of the reasons I'm at a loss with her death ... along with the lead-up being clumsy *NM*

And here you are sitting in your "rustic" palace in Arad Doman. Its a nice place out in the country, so its isolated physically. Its cool through, because you have inverted wards all around the place in little pockets which would indicate to you when someone channels.
So you're sitting there with your pets performing in the fountain in front of you, when one of your wards is triggered. Someone has channeled not too far from the palace! That's odd. It could only be Lews Therin or Rand al'Thor...or whatever his name is now. Or someone loyal to him... After all, if it was one of the other Chosen, they would have just opened up a gateway in the palace like every other time.
So knowing that I've been found out...I begin to pack my bags. After all...do you know how long it has taken to get all these pets from all over the place? Next thing you know...one of the palace servants (such a lovely thing) brings in some nobleman...interesting. So al'Thor is here....
So let me put some Compulsion on the guy...just the standard "say these things" kinda job. Nothing crazy or complex. But just to make things interesting...let the "Lord of Chaos rule" and all that, I'm gonna make my Compulsion dissipate & completely remove all residues upon Delving. That way, if someone does notice it even in passing, they cannot go back and tell that it was me...or even tell that Compulsion was involved.
So after that guy is on his way...I'm out. This palace needed fresh paint anyways....and those window treatments are so last season. Its time for a change of scenary anyways...
[This post and its drifing point of view brought to you by way of a really boring meeting at work, where I'm forced to listen to the same discussion over and over again.]

The lead up was clumsy because her death scene was rather forced.
