You die before you can write the scene but you are quite explicit in your notes and outline that Rand thinks he kills a Forsaken earlier, but this Forsaken appears again in the second act to taunt him, just as Ishamael did, but more effectively since it is closer to Tarmon Gaidon.


That we might really find out in ToM or AMoL that Graendal sneaked away before Rand balefired the palace. On a re-read of this scene TGS we would then laugh about Rand's pretentious & ridiculous explanation how to outsmart someone like Graendal, because - as we know now - it isn't possible at all and Rand is just an idiot to try it.
