Aren't boys supposed to punch each over and then move on? That's what happened at the boys' school my brothers went to. :P

I completely agree with Hermione's sentiments on the matter.


The Moody moments are very well done. The clues about Crouch Jr taking his place are there but subtle (the frequent references to his hipflask), but Rowling definitely throws us off course with the way he responds to Harry telling Cedric about the dragons. Nicely done.


I am enjoying this more than I have on previous readings. It's always been my second least-liked book, though. I wonder if that will change over the course of the whole re-read.
