Of course, there were a number of cases where it seemed like almost all of an author's books were listed, except for the one I'd read...
Leaving out Solaris for Lem, for instance, or The Metamorphosis for Kafka.

Of course, as I said above, VanderMeer didn't compose this entire list. His list of 64 Favorite Fictions is much more fascinating.
