The first point is freedom of religion/theology/thought.
<EXAMPLE>
As a christian I believe that (way) more than 50% of the people living today will probably go to eternal hell because they insult their Creator by not worshiping Him the way He ought to be. A direct consequence of reading and believing Romans 1.
The SECOND thing is what is causes me to do in real life.
Love them, reach out for them, give them all I have, discuss, have fun, give away, greet and live with them. Encourage and invite them to come to know God as He really is and share the gospel whenever there is a place and a time for it.
</EXAMPLE>
What Dan appears to do is take the first thing and, without any concideration (maybe based on a few examples), bludly say that conviction A ALWAYS leads to action B.
Psychology is not mathematics and sociology is not logics. One conviction doesn't make an action, but the mix of all convictions, emotions, experiences en opportunity together. Dan takes the unbalanced, uneducated and irresponsible shortcut singling out one conviction and one consequence.
