My only consideration is that it's not really fair to fuck up the travel plans of people who just want to see their family. On the other hand, it's not really fair for me to let their (and my) fourth amendment rights fall by the wayside.
On that note, to people who say 4th amendment applies to the government, when we stop subsidizing the airline industry and they voluntarily contract security firms, I won't complain. Until then, keep your hands the fuck off my secure person.
