If the banned weapons are not really any more dangerous than the unbanned versions what is the point? Should we ban weapons simply because they look scary and doing so gives us a false sense of security? If they were to ban all semi-automatic weapons that would have some impact but there is zero chance they could get that done. Banning weapons becuase they have pistol grips is just silly.
