I'm probably too drunk to give this the sort of response it deserves.

I have to admit that I am of the "when guns are illegal than only the lawless will have guns" or whatever the quote is school of thought. I *DO* believe that criminals will think twice if they know that *anybody* around them might be packing just as much heat as they themselves are. I *don't* think it's a good idea to take all arms away from the public.

I think there is plenty of room for legal kicking and screaming where assault weapons are concerned.

There's gotta be some kind of "happy medium" essentially.Guns should stay legal. There should probably be stricter laws about *who* can carry... I dunno... Too much rum in the brain right now...
