Nobody is asking you to be silent but if you speak will take away a dream you have been working towards for your entire life? Sorry but how in the hell does that argument make sense to anyone no matter what their politics are?

It matters to her that it is her dream, but if her dream is only to attain personal glory (not be a part of something bigger) then I can't help her. The Olympics are specifically supposed to be about fostering connections between different cultures and races, and if she can't get with that then she's making her own bed. I'm sorry, but why should she get to have her cake while the team has to accept something they don't like?
