new rule: catch the guy who caught the ball -- score a TD *NM* moondog Send a noteboard - 26/09/2012 12:10:05 AM
If that was the case, it would nearly be impossible for the defense to intercept the ball. So long as an offensive player could get a hand on it EVENTUALLY, it would be ruled simultanous. Here, Jennings gets two hands on and pulls the ball to his chest, Tate never has more than one arm on it until they are in the scrum.

It's not a matter of simultaneous possession, in which the possession has to START OUT simultaneous.

you can't claim "good ol' strip" *AND* simultaneous catch -- which is it? - 26/09/2012 02:35:41 AM 1164 Views
I do not claim both: I claim simultaneous catch but IF not, then strip. - 26/09/2012 03:51:47 AM 1170 Views
