Even if I conceded your position Tate never had possession till they came down (which I do not,) strips happen all the time in football, and no one ever said, "no, the other player already had, and therefore cannot loose, possession." Until now. From the few shots I have seen I am not even sure Jennings would have been ruled down after the catch (since it looks like everything but his feet was either in the air or on top of Tate,) and even if he HAD uncontested possession initially (which, again, I do not concede,) Tate would still legally be able to strip him until Jennings was down and the play finished.
