You both seem to feel I'm very wrong, but neither want to say more than that. Though you're on safer ground (and not indulging in ad hominems) because while I may or may not be a moron, I think I have a better idea of what I believe than he does.

I stand by my comments though: If we're talking Sacraments, leave the law out of it, and if we're talking law, leave the Sacraments out of it (as the law requires. ) Even countries that still have state churchs have figured that one out, and distinguish between the civil ceremony and any religious one that may or may not occur.
