I'll usually tip over here, unless the service has been mediocre or crap. If it's been crap I'll probably tell the manager.

In New Zealand tipping is pretty much unheard of. They've got very strict controls on pay, so waitresses etc don't need to make up wages. There'll sometimes be a tips jar beside the cash register in cafes, but that's it.
