I tip if the service is good, though. Nobody over 18 would work for the kind of money you mention though.



yes, you will work for that kind of money if the job market is that sad... I am sitting on a biology degree and taking additional classes waiting on the market to warm up and afford me an opportunity to get a decent job.


I meant nobody over 18 _here_ would work for that money. I know wages are rather low in the restaurant business, but all unions would issue a work blockade if a business tried to pay that low. I think the general agreement is something similar to double what you mention for over 20's without restaurant education and work experience.
