someone in the part collecting everyone's tip money under the table or when she goes to the bathroom and then someone running back in and throwing it on the table while Grandma isn't looking. I remember one time I had to feign going to the bathroom to find the waitress because there would be no way to leave it without her seeing. I essentially had to tell her that my grandmother didn't understand tipping and would screw her if she didn't take her tip from me then and there. Lol, gotta love old people. :)
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
