Ask any parole officers or psychologists/psychiatrists who deal with sex offenders and they will tell you that to keep from repeating the behavior again the offender basically has to become a recluse, constantly trying to avoid situations in which he (or she) might even accidentally become tempted. The treatment and counseling is all fine as far as giving the offender an outlet to express his or her frustrations but that is about all it amounts to, rehabilitation is practically non-existent with sexual offenders, especially molesters.

And I don't necessarily mean chemical castration, though that's certainly an option in at least some cases. I just don't want to write people off completely because of a single act. It's too final for me.
