Using a jiffy mix to make cookies is still homemade, because it's really just pre-mixing a fairly standard combination of dry ingredients
I was in the cake and cookie mix aisle in the store last weekend, and was quite disappointed in the long list of ingredients that are in said boxed mixes.
But, I think jiffy in particular has a relatively simple mix. That said, there isn't much different between frozen peas you buy in the store or ones you harvest at home and preserve yourself, which I have done. Well, that's what the food companies would have you think, I'm sure. I don't even really want to think about that right now, matter of fact...

You didn't make the bouillon, but you made the soup.
