I've said it before, that I think DADT may prove to be something protecting those too stupid to protect themselves, but I also have no problem with it being repealed. In the long run the military will probably be better served by repealing the rule and encouraging more openness and understanding about these issues (I still maintain that the short term could be ugly, but eventually it will get better). There is entirely too much racism, sexism, and homophobia in the U.S. military, and it's something they should really work towards stamping out.
