What is Palestine’s minimum demand in order to have peace? It does not seem to me that there is anything short of giving Palestine everything they want that will bring peace. Palestine lost the war (or should we say wars?) and they now need to sue for peace under reasonable terms. If they insist on fighting to the last man until they get everything they want then the last man will have no on to blame but himself. ?
One of the weird things about this conflict is that the conditions for peace are to a large extent well-known, but somehow they don't manage to get there. Of course, a lot of that has to do with simple logistics: considering the Palestinian population, any state they get has to have a certain surface even if the right of return is dropped or only gets a token concession. Additionally, the state has to have a certain territorial continuity, which means a small number of particularly badly (or strategically, depending on how you look at it) located settlements have to go. That much is obvious to everyone, I dare say; the devil is in the details, and in the matter of Jerusalem of course.
And of course, this means that at some point, Israel has to stop its tactic of conquering land piecemeal and letting the price of continued resistance rise gradually, because there comes a point where a two-state solution simply isn't realistic anymore. And at that point you either get extremely messy one-state solutions (AO favours those, but I don't think there are many people on either side who agree) - or an ethnic cleansing.

Your problem is that a "settlement freeze" doesn't impress anyone at all.
