One is a physical malady that can end the persons life, or severely degrade their independence.
The other is a mental issue that makes people feel bad.
There's an entire world of difference between cancer and degrading eyesight, and people "suffering" from "body dysphoria".
To compare the two as the same level of problem is an insult to everyone who has actually dealt with those real issues.
