I once heard wisdom defined as the ability to make good decisions, which is based on experience. Experience is defined as something one obtains by making decisions without the benefit of wisdom.

One of my two best friends committed suicide a couple of years ago. I'm still pretty angry at him.

Yes. This is why I have never made that decision without the benefit of wisdom. I don't want to do that to friends and family.
