I have a honest question?

(First I am ignoring much of the conversation in this thread...for that is hell you are walking into...if I decided to join the conversation...yet pivots.)

But I am curious why no one is talking about Rashida Tlaib (Michigan 13th) yet everyone is talking about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Rashida Tlaib won her primary a week ago and thus is the Democratic Nominee for the Michigan 13th. Tlaib is member of DSA.

Oh since there is no Republican running for this house seat in Nov it is likely (in fact almost certain) Tlaib is going to be in Congress come January when new members are seated.

So why no attention in the major press or in the general conversational spaces (Twitter, Facebook, etc)?

Is it because Tlaib is 42 instead of 28?

Is it due to Racism? If it is due to Racism I figured the Racists would hyperfocus on the fact Tlaib is Muslim and she has parents who are legal immigrants, yet Tlaib has 13 younger siblings. I figured such things are the stuff racists would hyper focus on.

Yet somehow Cortez gets all the attention and I just do not understand it...I am not trying to troll, I am just shocked that is all.
