Politico is very left leaning news source. The inability of people on the left to accept that the vast majority of the media is left leaning just demonstrates why having a balanced media so important. I despise Trump on a personal level and I found Politico to be heavily biased before he ran for office. There articles have an overwhelming pro-left slant. Can you name a single journalist there with a right leaning slant? There a plenty that lean left you would think a balanced source would have some that lean right as well.

It is naïve to believe a that news source that only higher left leaning journalist have either the ability or the desire to present balanced news. You would think one broadcast news source would want to take piece of the conservative audience Fox News has but they don't seem interested.

This isn't about being fair and what the left needs to understand is that alternate news sources are not the reason people have stopped trusting them, their inability to maintain that trust is the reason alternate news sources are growing. We are seeing the same thing with our universities who do most of the research these days. Most conservatives will dismiss report from major universities because they have been proven to promote tier own personal politics and many are openly hostile to anyone not on the far left of center.
