So by those standards, has there ever been any conservative president, if even Reagan wasn't one? It sounds like you're making the word 'conservative' into some sort of near-mythical title which real-world politicians can strive towards but never or almost never actually obtain. Which is pretty absurd when the commonly used sense of the word covers between one third and half of the entire American political spectrum. And when Reagan is praised almost to the point of worship by most people and entities who describe themselves as conservatives.

That's fine, I don't think there would be any point to it, anyway.
