A talent is a specific weight of precious metal. It has nothing to do with ability.

Why should those workers own it? They didn't come up with the idea. They didn't take the chance with initial capital. They didn't risk anything making that business.

Working at a company for decades is a lot more intense than the "risk" a shareholder has when they invest in a startup corporation.
