I am curious if credit cards companies can see whether it is delivery, sit down, or take out with their data.

I've been doing my best to tip delivery and pickup orders as if they were dine in, but I don't think that's necessarily a trend. So I'd expect pick up and dine in to be distinguishable that way.

Deliveries are easier, since the money doesn't directly to the restaurant, most times.
