Take the White Tower and its descriptions in the books versus what we see in the trailer. The White Tower was built so close to the Breaking and with the Power that it was basically straight up and closer to being our own kind of skyscraper than the neo-Baroque Byzantine hybrid that every city in Fantasy seems to be these days.

Aridhol (Shadar Logoth), Tar Valon, the city in the Amazon Tolkien show, the cities in LOTR movies. It's become so generic that a Fantasy city has to look this way. And that annoys me.
