Some oddities from yesterday


*White Flame posted THREE TIMES. What the hell? He was only RBIRL for like three days.


*Napoleon was in favor of just ignoring the Treasure Hunt, as we had no idea whether it would be helpful or hurtful.

And if we pick three out of a hat there is a good chance that ninja will be amongst them. After all... that's kinda what ninjas do. I'm going to hold my vote for now, maybe forever. This may be one of those things that for the good of the town we just let slip for the day.


He then made the point that since we were all voting for ourselves, it would just take a single ninja to vote for someone else to tip the scales.



*Kronin... well, maybe he was just a bit tired for Day 1? Didn't post much, and when he did it was with his "Let's send people we can read easily if they're ninjas" plan (or a dozen posts trying to explain that)

Treasure-Voted for DK, which doesn't necessarily clear him as no one knew quite what Treasure Voting would do. However, I'm more likely to view him as townie than ninja. (But post more!)


*Isaac. It's a minor thing, but his claim that he had no ninjas in his RM started off the whole BlackAdder thing. Granted, BA didn't do a very good job of making himself look innocent (I didn't have many doubts until the end, and by that point I figured it was better to lynch him just in case).

So, no FoS yet, as his actions are entirely consistent with what I've come to expect from Isaac, but it's worth reminding everyone.



*Fox and Ravens...

It's odd, trying to parse the previous day for clues. Looking at the thread as a whole, F&R seems fine. But when you actually focus on him, stuff like

It sounds like you're telling the truth, personally. But Isaac reasoning makes sense too. And i'm still suspicious from before, with the role fishing thing. That whole thing just doesn't make sense. You're roled! Why in the world would you lead the whole town on a wild goose chase? As far as I can see, whatever argument you're making for that point is just moot.

Vote: Black Adder

It's not so much for your RC (although I'm inclined to believe Isaac here) but for what you did earlier. It's just not right and that is blatantly anti-town.


Just kinda rings false to me. Especially from someone who was so understanding of Kronin's slip before.


*Kronin, Kylia, White Flame and Napoleon pretty much stayed out of the BlackAdder debate altogether, and were the ones who didn't vote for him. I'd bet that one or two of them is a ninja (probably one of the ones who were quieter), while one or two ninjas were in the BlackAdder debate, put up a token resistance to make themselves look innocent, and then agreed to vote for BA.


(Or, Isaac is a ninja, Ninja #2 sat out, and Ninja #3 pretended to debate about BA before voting with Isaac)






Anyway, I came away from Day One with a pretty strong anti-Fox and Ravens vibe.

Well I dunno what to really say other than for the Kronin situation, he didn't really screw up but just worded his response poorly. I knew what he meant because not only was I thinking the same thing but I was in a very similar situation.

And , assuming BA was telling the truth about his role, his excuse for the all vanilla suggestion was very poor. And I feel it was Day 1 lynchable poor, still. Pretty bad, suggesting something to the town you already know is untrue. That's only a step away from lying to the town. Well, whatever. I've been sticking by this since it first came out and I'll continue to do so.
