Well one silver lining with the town having taken such a pounding is that the NK factions will presumably be concentrating on trying to kill each other off, both by NK and by lynch since being in on a lynch that bags a DF or SK always helps one's claims at innocence. So we might have a bit of breathing room, while neither is likely to pass a chance ot kill a townie, they probably will be devoting efforts to ferreting each other out as opposed to framing a townie. From perosnal experience I can' testify that's it's very difficult to do both at once.

I wasn't in 1B or 2B, so I don't know the parallel, but we've hemhoraged roles before, it's always a blow but we've also had a lot of games where the roles didn't do much either and victory still happened. Quite often the doc never prevents and attack, though they do tend to let the cop RC, considering we've had DF RBers most games of late, odds are the DFs, if the cop claimed, would just RB them and whack someone else anyway, so normally of late an investigative role claiming just renders them vanilla and a townie dies anyway. Losing the back up cop only hurts us if the cop dies, and I suppose we might have a back up doc too. I'm guessing we have more roles left, besides the cop, besides the existance of a miller, just the fact that they all three deaths have been roled probably speaks to a higher density of roles, or insider knowledge. I wouldn't raise the point, but there are the MPD numbers, I don't believe Napoleon gave his and of course Blaine never said anything at all, but they may know something of what the numbers mean and had better odds by elimination. Alternatively, they might have thought players not saying anything might have indicated they were worried of exposing themselves as a role, that latter explanation holds even if the numbers really mean nothing at all... and I'd point out that we never got numbers for any of our trio of casualties, so they probably do mean notihng, however, that people thought they might mean something, and some didn't give them out, well, there are worse reasons to guess someone might be hiding themselves as roled. If nothing else, people who gave out their numbers, especially after it was raised that it might let the DFs find them, probably weren't too worried about exposure, and when you're striking basically at random anything helps, lynch or NK.

I imagine if FT hadn't dropped his bombshell, focus would have remained on MPD, and the DFs probably never shifted focus, because they didn't know if there was a SK or whatever and while they probably weren't surprised, it's likely they took FT's claim at face value and weren't very distracted by it. So they probably were trying to decipher if MPD meant anything, whereas the town and probably the SK were focused on FT and basically forgot MPD. It is fairly probable then that they might have used that as the basis for their attack. Just as reluctance to claim often highlights a DF, it also highlights roles, so I wouldn't be surprised if one or both of our night losses was targeted in whole or part for not giving a MPD number. I would guess that if that was the case, then it was probably napoleon, Blaine's silence on the matter wasn't very notable since he was just not around, so maybe the DF's killed napoleon for MPD reasons.

That seems like the likely allocation of NK regardless though, because I can't see three or four players conferencing about their NK and picking Blaine. Blaine's death just makes no sense, and that tends to indicate one player in isolation thinking something like 'The one person the doc won't protect, the watcher wouldn't watch, would be the guy who has been utterly silent, all kills benefit me anyway, maybe he's a role' whereas I'd think the DFs would have picked a target that made some sort of sense.
