Dude, I can't believe you think this. So you think that RJ was putting in a falsehood about female strength to show how inexperienced Elayne is? That is mad IMO.
Dude, are you thinking before you're typing? It isn't a falsehood. It is RJ ensuring that Elayne doesn't have information that is over and above what she should know, given her experience.
For example, the Aes Sedai think Sharina is as strong as a woman can get. We know this isn't true. Is RJ making the Aes Sedai lie, or is he making them say things based on their experience?
How do you equate sneaking up and shielding someone, with Egwene having the Power to match two strong women directly? What happened when Nynaeve got free... the two linked Sisters lost. That's what Aviendha was saying, and Nynaeve at least, proved it.
And how did they lose the duel? Because Nynaeve convinced the Kin to help her. She was helpless before that. If you seriously think wouldn't have been able to break a shield that is of total strength 30 at most, then I don't know what to say to you. Continue in your delusions, I guess.
1. Nynaeve has shown more than once that Shielding isn't a strong skill for her. She could be one of those like Asmo who just doesn't have much ability in this area.
2. Lan was actually how Nynaeve got out of this, and it seems unlikely the Kin did much in the way of fighting since they were still terrified of Ispan only moments later, not to mention Falion managed to escape which would have been unlikely if the Kin had joined in.
3. I actually think women can shield other women far more easily than they can men. Take Sheraine/Mylen, she held 3 shields on Joline, Teslyn and Edesina... clearly she's not vastly stronger than any of those women, but she was able to manage it. Then there is Cadsuane's thoughts on 3 women (non particularly strong) being able to hold Semirhage, "taking no chances".
